Healthy Thinking is a set of tools designed and refined by Dr Tom Mulholland and Dr Paul Englert. These tools can be used to manage emotions like stress, frustration and anger and are based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
CBT is well recognised and researched as a prevention and treatment program for anxiety and other emotions triggered at work and home.
The Healthy Thinking digital course gives tools and processes such as TWiG, AEIOU, Cognitive Switches and Attitude Profiling in an easy format that you can learn and use in everyday life.
It is designed to be used and practised as Anti-Virus software for the mind. Just like any anti-virus software it won’t work if you don’t switch it on so make sure you download the pocket prompt at the end and use the tools, so it becomes a habit.
How long does it take?
A few hours to a few months, it's up to you. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. We recommend employers allow people 30 minutes a week for a month to get the basics of Healthy Thinking, the rest can be done at home.
